South Africa Cape Getaway

Your amazing holiday has begun! Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will meet your driver/ guide and will be taken towards Winelands hotel. (Official check-in time is 02:00 PM). Rest of the day is yours for leisure to explore this destination on your vacation. Dinner will be at a local Indian restaurant.

Enjoy an appetizing breakfast at the hotel on the second day of your tour. Check-out for Garden Route Game Lodge in Mossel Bay with a wine tasting tour en route. Upon arrival at the lodge check-in and you will be guided to your rooms. This afternoon, join your safari ranger for your first African safari experience in the reserve on your fabulous holiday. Later in the evening, return to the lodge in time for dinner.

This morning, you will join your safari ranger for your early morning safari in the reserve and return to the lodge in time for breakfast. Check-out of the lodge to head to Knysna (drive time is +/- 2 hours). Dinner will be at a local Indian restaurant.

A delicious breakfast will be served at the hotel. Depart for a Full-day Tour of Oudtshoorn which is a town in the Western Cape Province in South Africa, home to the world's largest ostrich population. Cango Caves – The Klein Karoo’s the oldest and the most popular attraction and one of the world’s natural wonders. Visit the Safari Ostrich Farm – See and ride one of the thousands of ostriches, try South African cuisine including ostrich meat at their restaurant and buy some ostrich products at the shop. Cango Wildlife Ranch – Here you will have the opportunity to view some of the animal species that inhabited the Karoo Region in the early days.

A delectable breakfast will be served at the lodge. Check-out and head back to Cape Town where you can spend some quality time in your vacation. Rest of the day is yours for leisure. (Select from a list of optional tours available).

A tasty breakfast will be served at the hotel. Go on a Private Full-day Cape Town City Tour and Winelands. Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain (this excursions weather permitting) for a panoramic view of the city and the coastline. Continue through the historic Malay Quarter, past the South African Museum with its famed Bushmen exhibits and other interesting sights. Towards the end of the morning, a visit is made at the famous Victoria and Alfred Waterfront with its many shops and restaurants. Rest of the day is yours for leisure.

Breakfast will be served at the Hotel. Head on a Private Full-day Tour of Cape Point. You will see the cold Atlantic Ocean en route to Hout Bay. Enjoy a half-hour cruise to Seal Island or for the not so adventurous the fish market, Mariners Wharf is a must. You will then continue alongside the Indian Ocean and stop to see the Jackass penguin colony at Boulders beach near Simon’s Town. Then you will travel onwards until you reach Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Your last stop of the day will be at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, home of some 3,500 species of Southern African fauna and flora. Return back to Cape Town in the late afternoon.
